PASTORAL ASSISTANT - We are currently hiring for a part-time Pastoral Assistant who will work in the office for 15 hours per week. If you have questions or are interested in the position, reach out to one of the elders. A copy of the job description is posted on the informational bulletin board by the women’s restroom.
CHRISTMAS GIFT WRAPPING FUNDRAISER - The River of LIFE Youth Group is doing a gift wrapping fundraiser! Bring your gifts, and we’ll wrap them for you! Please have all gifts clearly labeled, and provide your own wrapping paper and gift tags. Drop-off will take place on Saturday, December 20, from 9:00am to 11:00am in the River of LIFE Youth Room. When dropping off gifts, please bring any boxes needed for the items; we will only have a limited number of boxes available. We will text when your wrapped gifts are ready, and all wrapped gifts must be picked up before noon that same day. The cost is a free will offering with a suggested donation of $3–$10 per gift.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD UPDATE - Thanks to the generosity of our congregation, River of LIFE packed and delivered 46 shoeboxes this year, sharing Jesus’ love and God’s message of peace and hope with children around the world. Praise God for every life touched by His Gospel!
FOOD MINISTRY - The Food Ministry Freezer is labeled & now stocked! In the kitchen is a large new freezer being filled with food. If you are someone who could use a meal or two, please take what you need. Maybe someone in your family is sick, and you could use a break, or the week has been crazy & people need to be fed - grab a meal.
ADVENT SERVICE - Please join us for our last Advent services this coming Wednesday, December 17. We begin with a meal at 5:30pm, followed by worship at 6:30pm. The meals are free, and everyone is welcome to attend. Come for the meal, stay for the service, and leave with a heart full of joy and hope. This week’s meal will be Guatemalan Tacos.
CHRISTMAS PROGRAM INFORMATION - Our Sunday School Children’s Christmas Program will take place on December 21 during the 10:00am worship service. Cast rehearsals will be held on Wednesdays, December 10 and 17, from 4:00pm to 5:30pm, with a practice for everyone on December 20 at 9:00am. Questions about the program should be directed to Dawn Eberhart.

FREE FOOD AVAILABLE ON WEDNESDAYS - Each Wednesday morning, River of LIFE picks up day-old and “best by” dated items from Family Fresh. This includes a wide variety of foods such as pastries, buns, bread, cookies, cakes, and other baked goods. These items are still good, but can no longer be sold in the store. The food is brought to the church every Wednesday, and anyone is welcome to take anything they can use.
