POINSETTIA ORDERS DUE TODAY Help us decorate our sanctuary this Advent season with beautiful red poinsettias. They will be purchased locally from Traverse Des Sioux Garden Center and used throughout Advent and Christmas. You may take your plant home after the Christmas Eve Service. Order forms are available online or paper copies are in the Narthex.
FALL CLEAN UP - The annual Fall Clean Up is scheduled for November 14 9:00 - noon. Join us to get the church ready for winter and our Anniversary Celebration.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD River of LIFE Lutheran is once again partnering with Samaritan's Purse in this global mission project to bring Great Joy & Hope to children in desperate situations around the world and to make disciples of nations by sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with them.
How to Get Involved: Families and individuals can make meaningful memories this Christmas season with a focus on giving and thinking of others by packing shoebox gifts for children in need. As the LORD says, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35). We invite everyone to join in by packing a preprinted shoebox found in the narthex or pack one on-line using RoLL's Goal Page. You can also make a donation in addition to or in lieu of packing a box. A donation of $10 per box is critical to cover gospel materials, shipping, and other project costs. And we ask everyone to pray for the children receiving the gifts.
Important Deadline: The last day to drop off a box or make a donation at River of LIFE is 10:00am on Sun., Nov. 22nd. Please bring your shoebox to the altar the morning of the 22nd where we will pray over them. CHRISMONS ORNAMENT MAKING Anyone interested in making Chrismons for the Church Christmas tree -there is a sign up sheet in the narthex or text Barb Zion at (239) 248-3942 if you have any questions. We will be meeting at church on Thursday, Nov 12 at 5-7pm and Saturday, Nov 14 at 2-4pm.
