PASTORAL ASSISTANT - We are currently hiring for a part-time Pastoral Assistant who will work in the office for 15 hours per week. WELCOMING KATRINA JO LYNN BAUMANN IN BAPTISM - Today, we celebrate the baptism of Katrina Jo Lynn Baumann, daughter of Joe and Kristine Baumann. Her godparents are Kyline Solomon and Elliott Solomon, and the other junior sponsor is Tabitha Baumann. Her grandparents are Cindy and Mike Olson.
CHRISTMAS GIFT WRAPPING FUNDRAISER - The River of LIFE Youth Group is doing a gift wrapping fundraiser! Bring your gifts, and we’ll wrap them for you! Please have all gifts clearly labeled, and provide your own wrapping paper and gift tags. Drop-off will take place on Saturday, December 20, from 9:00am to 11:00am in the River of LIFE Youth Room. When dropping off gifts, please bring any boxes needed for the items; we will only have a limited number of boxes available. We will text when your wrapped gifts are ready, and all wrapped gifts must be picked up before noon that same day. The cost is a free will offering with a suggested donation of $3–$10 per gift.
ADVENT SERVICE - Please join us for our Advent services each Wednesday evening through December 17. We begin with a meal at 5:30pm, followed by worship at 6:30pm. The meals are free, and everyone is welcome to attend. Come for the meal, stay for the service, and leave with a heart full of joy and hope. This week’s meal will be chili.
ADVENT MEAL TREATS NEEDED - We’re looking for volunteers to bring dessert for the Advent suppers on Wednesday evenings. You can sign up on any of the red sheets on the table in the narthex or there is a signup online.
CHRISTMAS PROGRAM PRACTICE FOR CAST ONLY - Our Sunday School Children’s Christmas Program will take place on December 21 during the 10:00am worship service. Cast rehearsals will be held on Wednesdays, December 10 and 17 from 4:00pm to 5:30pm, with a practice for everyone on December 20 at 9:00am. Questions about the program, should be directed to Dawn Eberhart.

FREE FOOD AVAILABLE ON WEDNESDAYS - Each Wednesday morning, River of LIFE picks up day-old and “best by” dated items from Family Fresh. This includes a wide variety of foods such as pastries, buns, bread, cookies, cakes, and other baked goods. These items are still good, but can no longer be sold in the store. The food is brought to the church every Wednesday, and anyone is welcome to take anything they can use. Our goal is to keep this food out of the dumpsters and to bless anyone who can benefit from it.
