PRAYER WALL - Have you visited our Prayer Wall or Prayer Box lately? The Prayer Wall, located in the hallway by the Fellowship Room, is a place to both share your prayer requests and pray for others. Each note that’s posted stays on the wall so our church family can lift one another up throughout the week. It’s a simple but powerful reminder that we are a family of prayer. The Prayer Box, found on the table in the Narthex, is available for private prayer requests that are shared only with our prayer team. They faithfully pray over each request during the week. You can also send requests anytime by email at prayers@riveroflifelutheran.com.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD - We are once again partnering with Samaritan's Purse in this global mission project to bring Great Joy & Hope to children in desperate situations around the world and make disciples of nations by sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with them. How to Get Involved: Families and individuals can make meaningful memories this Christmas season with a focus on giving and thinking of others by packing shoebox gifts for children in need as the LORD says, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35). We invite everyone to join in by packing a preprinted shoebox found in the narthex or pack one online at River of LIFE's Goal Page https://shorturl.at/3GqN5, or make a donation, and pray. Important Dates: The last day to drop off a box or make a donation at River of LIFE is Noon on Sunday, November 23.

YOUTH GROUP SUMMER 2026 WORK TRIP - Our River of LIFE Youth Group will be heading to Belle, West Virginia, for a mission work trip on June 20–28, 2026. This trip is open to youth in grades 8 and up. It’s a wonderful opportunity to grow in faith, serve others, and build lasting friendships. We need to submit the registration soon. CHRISTMAS PROGRAM PRACTICE FOR CAST ONLY - Our Sunday School Children’s Christmas Program will take place on December 21 during the 10:00am worship service. Cast rehearsals will be held on Wednesdays, November 19 and 26 from 5:30pm to 6:15pm, and on December 3, 10 and 17 from 4:00pm to 5:30pm, with a practice for everyone on December 20 at 8:00am. ALTAR COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - We are looking for people who would like to help on our Altar Committee. This team plays an important behind-the-scenes role in caring for our sanctuary. They change the paraments (the colored flags on the altar) as the church seasons change, make sure everything is set up nicely for worship, and help with flowers during Christmas and Easter (arranging poinsettias and lilies). This is a committee that is still coming together, and there’s room to shape what it becomes as we go. If you enjoy details, decorating, or simply helping our worship space look welcoming each week, we would love to have you.
