LAW ENFORCEMENT MEAL
We’re hosting a Law Enforcement Appreciation Meal on Tuesday, May 13 from 5:30 to 7:00pm here at River of LIFE and we’re looking for a few volunteers to help during the event and some food donations. There’s an online sign-up and the link can be found on our website and in the River of LIFE app. We also have an iPad available in the Narthex after church if you’d like to sign up in person. Someone will be there to assist you. Thank you for helping us show appreciation to those who serve and protect our community!
CONFIRMATION SUNDAY
Join us for a special Confirmation Service on Sunday, May 18 at 10:00am. There will be one worship service that morning as we celebrate this important milestone in the faith journey of our confirmands. Everyone is welcome!
GARAGE SALE – UPDATE & THANK YOU
Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, or shopped at our church garage sale. Because of your incredible support, we raised around $4,500! These funds will help make it possible for those from our church to attend the LCMS National Youth Gathering in New Orleans this summer. It was also a wonderful way for us to connect with our community. We had so many great conversations, met new people, and were reminded of the impact a simple event can have when we come together. We are truly grateful for your generosity and support. A very special thank you goes out to Valerie Christenson and Kim Wernsing for the many, many hours of planning and organizing that went into making this event the success that it was.
UPDATE ON FUNDRAISING
We’re excited to share a quick update on where we currently stand with funding for the upcoming LCMS National Youth Gathering. So far, we have received $5,000 in church-budgeted support, $7,950 in participant deposits, and have raised $14,200 through fundraising efforts. That brings our current total to $27,160. Thank you for continuing to support our youth on this incredible journey!
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL REGISTRATION OPEN
This year’s VBS is True North - Trusting Jesus in a Wild World! July 27 – July 31 @ 5:45pm-7:55pm with a free meal each day @ 5:00pm. We have something for everyone: Age 3-Grade 5 register as a participant & Grade 6-Adult register as a efficiently. More information and registration info can be found on the church website. It is FREE to attend. We ask for all ages to PLEASE REGISTER EARLY so we can plan more.
OUTDOOR WORSHIP
Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 22 as we head outdoors for worship at MN Square Park.
We will follow the same format as last year with worship, food, music, games, and plenty of fun.
