ANNUAL MEETING
Our Annual Church Meeting will be held immediately after the service today. This is an important meeting for our congregation and a chance for us to reflect on where we have been as a church and to look ahead to where God is leading us. During the meeting, the congregation will review and vote to approve the proposed annual budget, as well as vote on new Board of Directors members and Elders. We encourage all members to attend and take part in this important time together. After the meeting we will be having a potluck meal!
YOUTH GROUP - SIDEWALK PROPHETS CONCERT
The youth group will be attending the Sidewalk Prophets concert on Sunday, March 15, and everyone is welcome to come along! Tickets are $20.00 each, and the deadline to order tickets is February 1. We will carpool from River of LIFE, leaving at 5:15pm. To purchase tickets, please text Jim Christenson at 651-270-9656.
PASTORAL ASSISTANT
We are currently hiring for a part-time Pastoral Assistant who will work in the office for 15 hours per week. If you have questions or are interested in the position, reach out to one of the elders. A copy of the job description is posted on the informational bulletin board by the women’s restroom.
FOOD MINISTRY
The Food Ministry Freezer is labeled & now stocked! In the kitchen is a large new freezer being filled with food. If you are someone who could use a meal or two, please take what you need. Maybe someone in your family is sick, and you could use a break, or the week has been crazy & people need to be fed - grab a meal.
MEALS AND WHEELS DRIVERS NEEDED
Meals on Wheels is in need of volunteer drivers to help deliver meals to those in our community. This is a great way to serve neighbors in a practical and meaningful way, and even an occasional driver helps!
Questions or want to volunteer? Contact Sue Erickson at 507-550-0730.
FREE FOOD AVAILABLE ON WEDNESDAYS
Each Wednesday morning, River of LIFE picks up day-old and “best by” dated items from Family Fresh. This includes a wide variety of foods such as pastries, buns, bread, cookies, cakes, and other baked goods. These items are still good, but can no longer be sold in the store. The food is brought to the church every Wednesday, and anyone is welcome to take anything they can use.
