ADVENT MEALS
A meal will be provided at 5:30 pm each Wednesday during Advent. In order to minimize costs, we are asking for food donations. The signup link can be found on our website. Please bring the requested item by the specified date (usually the Sunday prior to the meal). If we don’t receive the items by that date, we will purchase what is needed.
YOUTH GROUP CHRISTMAS COOKIE BAKE DAY
The Junior and Senior High Youth Groups will be baking cookies on Wednesday, November 29th. We are asking for ingredient donations. You can find a clipboard in the narthex or there is an online signup. Please ensure that the ingredients are at the church before noon on Wednesday. If not, we will purchase whatever is necessary.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The River of LIFE Board of Directors is seeking individuals who are interested in serving on the board. If you are interested, please speak with Pastor or one of the current board members for more information.
AMERICAN HERITAGE GIRLS LEADER
We are looking for someone to take on a leadership role for the soon-to-be-formed American Heritage Girls (AHG) program at River of LIFE. American Heritage Girls was founded by a group of parents wanting a faith-based, scout-type character development program for their daughters in 1995. Troops get the chance to participate in: fun outdoor activities, service projects, badge work, girl leadership opportunities, and more (all with other like-minded girls)! See Pastor for more info.
2024 MISSION COMMITTEE
River of LIFE sets aside 10% of its overall offering for missions annually. We are currently establishing a mission committee and seeking individuals who are interested in joining. The committee will make recommendations to the Board of Directors, who will then propose to the congregation which organizations our church will support in the year 2024.
BIBLE STUDIES
The women's Bible Study on Wednesday nights will be on a short break and will resume on January 3, 2024. The men's group will take a break this week and then meet for three consecutive weeks on November 29, December 6, and December 13 before they also take a break for Christmas.
