SPONSOR A SNOWFALL
Each time it snows, we need to pay someone to clear the snow from our parking lot. This is isn’t something that a lot of us can do because we don’t have access to a snow plow, so we thought of another way for people to help with this need without actually plowing snow. You can “Sponsor a Snowfall” by making a donation of $105 to cover the cost for one snow event. (This would be giving beyond your normal offering for that week). If this is something you are interested in you can email the church office or text the word “SNOW” to 833-944-3133.
DECORATE CHURCH FOR CHRISTMAS
Please come help us decorate the church for the upcoming Christmas season on Saturday, November 26th @ 9:00am. We will have some pastries, coffee, hot chocolate, Christmas music and loads of fun ready for you!
POINTSETTIAS Orders DUE TODAY!
Traditionally our church has been decorated during the Advent Season with poinsettias in memory or honor of loved ones. Order forms can be found in the narthex & on our website. Cost is $14 and orders due Nov 13.
THANKSGIVING DECORATIONS
We are looking for fall/harvest related items that can be used to decorate the altar area for Thanksgiving. Examples include but not limited to: cornstalks, squash, ornamental corn, harvest wheat etc. Let us know if you have something to donate so that we can coordinate.
FIRST COMMUNION CLASS
Children (and anyone) interested in learning more about the Sacrament of Holy Communion are encouraged to attend a one-day First Communion Class. The actual celebration of First Communion will be scheduled based on families’ schedules. Class is scheduled for November 19th 9am-noon.
RIVER OF LIFE – WHO WE ARE
Come learn more about River of LIFE, our history, our beliefs and our future. Sunday, November 20th @ 9:30am.
HELP WITH REFRESHMENT CLEANUP
We need additional people to help with refreshment cleanup after the 10:30 service. It’s a quick and easy job to do. We would like to add more people to the rotation so no one person should have to do it more than once every other month or so. Talk to Tracy or email the office if you would like to be on the list of people willing to help.
SANITIZING WIPES
We received a donation of several cases of sanitizing wipes. Feel free to grab whatever you think you can use. They are by the AED & Fire Extinguisher.
