NO YOUTH GROUP THIS WEEK!
There will be NO Youth Group meeting this Wednesday (Oct 18) due to MEA.
YOUTH GROUP HAYRIDE
We will be going on a hayride Sunday night October 22nd, open to all Jr & Sr High Youth. Meet at the church at 6:00 pm. We will be having a meal at River of LIFE and then going on a Hayride at the Struckman’s. Any questions please call Jim Christenson.
FIRST COMMUNION CLASS
Children (and anyone) interested in learning more about the Sacrament of Holy Communion are encouraged to attend a one-day First Communion Class. We have two dates scheduled for our class, you only need to attend ONE of these sessions; Saturday, October 21st from 9:00-11:00 or Monday, October 23rd from 6:00-8:00pm. Please email the office or let Pastor know if you will be attending. The actual celebration of First Communion will be scheduled based on families’ schedules.
BIBLE STUDIES
The men’s Bible Study is called “Stepping Up”. This Bible Study gives men the vision and the tools to live godly, courageous lives. The women’s Bible study is “Kingdom Women” by Tony Evans. Both groups meet on Wednesdays, the women meet @ 7:00, and the men meet from 7:30-9:00.
FALL FESTIVAL
Join us for our 2nd Annual Fall Festival on October 29th. It will take place right after church through the end of the Vikings game. The Vikings game starts at noon and will be shown on the big screen. It will be a potluck meal and we will also be providing some German food as well. There will be fall crafts and coloring for the kids and a corn pool. Bring a game or cards if you wish. There will also be a visit from local law enforcement and a Classic car and motorcycle roll-in.
