FALL CLEAN UP
Fall clean-up is this Saturday, October 14th starting at 9:00am. We have a list of work to be done and we need your help! Many hands make light work.
PASTOR APPRECIATION DAY MEAL
Pastor Appreciation Day is today Sunday, October 8, however, the LCMS has encouraged congregations to use the entire month of October to demonstrate appreciation. So we’ll celebrate on our work day this coming Saturday with morning pastries and a noon meal. Join us in appreciating Pastor Brian and his family. Please bring a dish to pass.
FREEZER MEAL WORKSHOP
Reminder if you have signed up for the the freezer meal workshop this afternoon. That will start at 1:00pm. Refer to your email for more information.
FIRST COMMUNION CLASS
Children (and anyone) interested in learning more about the Sacrament of Holy Communion are encouraged to attend a one-day First Communion Class. We have two dates scheduled for our class, you only need to attend ONE of these sessions; Saturday, October 21st from 9:00-11:00 or Monday, October 23rd from 6:00-8:00 pm. Please email the office or let Pastor know if you will be attending. The actual celebration of First Communion will be scheduled based on families’ schedules.
BIBLE STUDIES
The men’s Bible Study is called “Stepping Up”. This Bible Study gives men the vision and the tools to live godly, courageous lives. The women’s Bible study is “Kingdom Women” by Tony Evans. Both groups meet on Wednesdays, the women meet @ 7:00, and the men meet from 7:30-
9:00.
FALL FESTIVAL
There will be a Fall Festival on Sunday, October 29th. This will be immediately following the worship service. More details regarding this event will be coming soon, but we wanted you to get this date saved on your calendar now.
