Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 6th from 9:00-noon. It is spring cleaning time here at River of LIFE. We will have a list of chores to be done and as you know, many hands make light work. We hope to see you there!
NOW HIRING - DIRECTOR OF MUSIC
River of LIFE is hiring a Director of Music. This is a part time, non-benefit, paid position. The Director of Music supports and affirms the identity, mission, and vision of River of LIFE by enhancing the worship experience through music that aims to correspond with sermon topics and scripture readings. ONE SERVICE
Beginning Memorial Weekend, Sunday, May 28th, our worship service time will be changing to 10:00am and there will be one service only during the summer months. Please make a note of this time change.
PICKLEBALL
We have five pickleball courts reserved at Mankato’s Picklebarn on Saturday, May 20, from 3 - 5pm. We will get a brief pickleball lesson to learn the rules of the game and then start playing. Based on 20 people attending this event, the cost will be $15 per person. Paddles and balls will be included. As the date draws nearer; we'll solidify the final headcount. LADIES DAY OUT
Relax with friends at Chankaska Winery on Sunday, April 30th @ 2:00pm. Contact Jessie McQuiggin if interested, or just show up!
SPRING 2023 CONFIRMATION
Spring 2023 confirmation will be on Sunday, May 7th during the 10:30am service. Students, please note the final class dates are April 26 and May 3 from 6:30-7:30.
VBS OPPORUNITY FOR 5TH & 6TH GRADE STUDENTS
Current 5th & 6th grade students are invited to become part of a new team here at River or LIFE. They will Shine Jesus' Light on the younger kids by adding visual excitement and energy to the singing portion of the Sing & Play Blast Off and Cosmic Closing at VBS. Prior to VBS they will learn the words and motions to all the songs. Rehearsal schedule are TBD. There is an online and paper signup.
