NOW HIRING - DIRECTOR OF MUSIC
River of LIFE is hiring a Director of Music. This is a part time, non-benefit, paid position. The Director of Music supports and affirms the identity, mission, and vision of River of LIFE by enhancing the worship experience through music that aims to correspond with sermon topics and scripture readings. They will manage the worship team by preparing monthly schedules, developing setlists, editing and distributing sheet music to musicians, and developing new talent. ONE SERVICE
Beginning Memorial Weekend, Sunday, May 28th, our worship service time will be changing to 10:00am and there will be one service only during the summer months. Please make a note of this time change.
PICKLEBALL
We have five pickleball courts reserved at Mankato’s Picklebarn on Saturday, May 20, from 3 - 5pm. We will get a brief pickleball lesson to learn the rules of the game and then start playing. Based on 20 people attending this event, the cost will be $15 per person. Paddles and balls will be included. As the date draws nearer; we'll solidify the final headcount. SPRING 2023 CONFIRMATION
Spring 2023 confirmation will be on Sunday, May 7th during the 10:30am service. Students, please note the final class dates are April 26 and May 3 from 6:30-7:30.
CHURCH BOILER INSPECTOR
We are looking for someone that is willing to get their boiler’s license and work alongside our current boiler inspector to learn our boiler system and eventually take over the weekly inspections. We are willing to pay for the licensing fees if someone is willing to do the weekly inspections during our cold weather seasons. Talk to Pastor, one of our board members or email the church office if you’re interested in learning more.
SPRING CLEANING DAY
Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 6th from 9:00-noon. It is spring cleaning time here at River of LIFE. We will have a list of chores to be done and as you know, many hands make light work. We hope to see you there!
