WORSHIP SOFTWARE BACKUP
We recently switched to a new worship software. We need a handful of people that are willing to be trained on how to operate the system and do simple problem solving with it. If you consider yourself computer proficient and are interested in knowing more email the church office or talk to Tracy.
MAN UP! MEN’S RETREAT
Men from churches in the LCMS Minnesota South District are invited to attend a 24-hour retreat where faith will be strengthened, and spirits renewed by God’s Word. Bible studies will focus on the Psalms of David. Retreat will be held on March 3-4 at Camp Omega. Camp Omega is supported by LCMS MN South District. VBS ORGANIZATONAL PLANNING MEETING
Interested in being involved with this year’s VBS program? Come to our first planning meeting for the year on Wednesday, February 8th @ 6:00pm. We will discuss needs, timelines and establish committees. If you can't attend this meeting, but would like to help out let us know and we will save a spot for you!
YOUTH GROUP SNOW TUBING
Our Jr & Sr Youth Groups (Grades 5-12) will go snow tubing at Mount Kato on Sun, March 5th (rescheduled from today because of the cold). Cost: $10. Leave church @ 2:00, Tubing 2:30-4:30. Pizza party afterwards at church. Sign up form and link for payment can be found on our website.
CRAFT / CRICUT MORNING OF FUN
Let’s get together and do some crafty things! The church recently received a Cricut (thanks to Thrivent $). There have been a few people that have expressed interest in learning how to use it. If you own a machine and would like to share your knowledge, join us on Sat, Feb. 11th @ 10:00am here at church. If you have a machine bring it, if you don’t come anyway and let’s just have some fun! This is a laid-back event with no particular agenda planned! We’re just going to go with it!
SUPER BOWL PARTY
We will be having a Super Bowl party at church on Sunday, February 12th @ 5pm. Bring your favorite snacks/party food. Come watch the game on our big screen! If board games are more your style, bring your favorite game and play with friends.
CHURCH WISHLIST
The leaders of River of LIFE have developed an ongoing wish list of items that our church could benefit from.
