There will be a congregation meeting on Sunday, March 12th @ 11:45 to discuss future River of LIFE ministry opportunities and facilities.
EASTER FLOWERS
Help us decorate by purchasing Easter Lilies to be placed in the sanctuary during Easter. These can be given in honor of someone, or in memory of someone who has passed. We will display the flowers in the sanctuary for Easter Sunday and you can then bring them home after the late service. The online order link can be found on our website or paper order forms are available in the narthex.
VBS – KID VID CINEMA LEADER NEEDED
Do you love Jesus? We need a KidVid Cinema leader for VBS this summer. You will watch a short video clip with the kids and then lead a few discussion questions. Crew leaders will also be with you to help as needed. All supplies and scripts are provided. If you are interested or have question, talk to Tracy.
WORSHIP SOFTWARE BACKUP
We recently switched to a new worship software. We need a handful of people that are willing to be trained on how to operate the system and do simple problem solving with it. If you consider yourself computer proficient and are interested in knowing more email the church office or talk to Tracy.
MAN UP! MEN’S RETREAT
Men from churches in the LCMS Minnesota South District are invited to attend a 24-hour retreat where faith will be strengthened, and spirits renewed by God’s Word. Bible studies will focus on the Psalms of David. Retreat will be held on March 3-4 at Camp Omega. Camp Omega is supported by LCMS MN South District. CHURCH WISHLIST
The leaders of River of LIFE have developed an ongoing wish list of items that our church could benefit from. These are not emergency needs, but rather items that are used regularly or in some way would enhance the worship service, ministries or other events at River of LIFE.
MARRIAGE CONFERENCE
Great marriages don't just happen. Familylife's Weekend to Remember® is a marriage getaway that has equipped over 1.5 million couples with practical tools and resources. There has been a group code set up for those that attend River of LIFE. The code "ROLLLOVE" will take $100 off the registration price. This code is good for the next 12 months and can be used for any location in the US.
