Children, preschool through grade 6, are encouraged to join us for “ROAR—Life Is Wild, God Is Good.” Register online at https://vbspro.events/…/sai…/sessions/33289/participants/new or day-of. An optional family supper is served from 5:15-5:45 pm. Singing, Bible stories, crafts, and playtime are held from 6:00-7:45 pm. Join us as we explore God’s goodness and celebrate a ferocious faith that powers us through this wild life.
Our youth are connected to Christ and empowered to live out the Gospel in their social spheres. In their desire to “build caring relationships through Christ,” they meet monthly for Bible study, fellowship, and ministry opportunities. Check out their Facebook page.
Because the next generation of believers is important to us at River of Life, we are passionate about partnering with parents to help children and youth deepen their faith and trust in Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Sunday School and Confirmation classes, with a Bible-based curriculum for ages 2-grade 9, are held Sunday mornings from 9:00-9:50 am. Classroom sessions end May 19 but will resume September 8, 2019.
Bible studies are designed to help you grow in your relationship with Christ and connect with other believers. Newcomers are always welcome to these Bible studies: Wednesday's Men's Bible Study with Pastor Tom (7:00-8:00 pm), and Wednesday's Women's Bible Study (7:00-8:00 pm). See the Calendar for current scheduling.
River of Life seeks to help college students and young adults grow in their relationship with Jesus, develop lasting friendships with other believers, and serve the Church and community with Christ's love. College-aged young adults are welcome at Sunday morning worship, at monthly gatherings with Pastor Tom, and at various ministries connected with River of Life. Call or email for transportation or for more information.
